It was raining and cold on last thursday 2/21. But this bad weather did not stop District President SALLY and District Director JAN to join our club meeting. Inside of Emerald Bay Restaurant hot tea and wine warmed us up and the 6 course dinner (seafood soup, shrimps, fried fish, claims, vegetable, special tofu) made everyone happy and ready for the coming session with VietMOMS. VietMOMS is represented by Ailenne and Rosa, women of two different generations and two different cultures with one common goal: Helping young mothers and babys. VietMOMS provides basic things every mom needs for their fragile baby like diapers, blanket, clothes, toys, etc. After listening to the work of VietMOMS we asked and discussed how our Unity Exchange Club can help VietMOMS. And our Co-Founder Dr. Spitzer (949)955-3937 is offering free eye exam to moms and babys in need referred by VietMOMS organization. Now you can imagine how excited was the reaction of our guests Ailenne and Rosa. Do you also have another idea how to help?
